Questions, dog owners need to be answered

Answer: We cannot provide you with one straight answer. It depends on the dog's breed, coat type, lifestyle and how often you took him to the salon. But, you can follow this rough estimate: Short-haired breeds may need grooming every 6–8 weeks and Long-haired breeds or dogs prone to matting may need grooming every 4–6 weeks.
Answer: Again it depends upon groomers policies but mostly groomers package includes:
  • A gentle bath with pet-safe shampoo.
  • Coat brushing and drying.
  • Nail trimming and ear cleaning.
  • A haircut or trim (if needed).
  • Additional services like teeth cleaning, de-shedding treatments, and much more can be added on request.
Answer: Make sure your dog is clean and free of excessive dirt or debris before arriving. A short walk beforehand can help them relax. Bring any medical or vaccination records if it’s your first visit.

Answer: Yes! Every dog groomer must verify and talk about dog’s behavior like:

  • Has your dog ever had any bad experiences with grooming?
  • Does your dog have any issues with things like loud noises, being touched in certain areas, or specific tools?
  • How does your dog react to other animals, or is it okay to groom them around others?
